I wrote a little ditty; let me know if it’s pretty🤣. Here goes:
Rain Oh! Rain
Go away
28 plus days
Is enough
Ok!
All of us want to go out
And play.
GO AWAY! GO AWAY!!!
at least til another day
We crave the sun
We crave the dry
We pray no leeches and mossies
Swim by.
Just some dry days, is that too much
To ask?
I feel I’m rusting from all this wet.
The cats nag to go out but their feet get soggy
The birds have stopped singing
And nesting, I’ll bet.
The spiders are learning to swim.
If anyone believes in a god
Can someone have a word with him?
Another month of this and
I’ll develop gills and webbed feet.
But at least it’ll be a conversation stopper
At any meet and greet.
