Well not directly, anyway. It is all the hysteria surrounding the world’s Covid19 story. The article below is what has upset me. I feel like Peter Finch in the movie Network, screaming “I’m As Mad As Hell, And I’m Not Going To Take This Anymore!”
Isn’t the covid issue is bad enough. Especially, for the poor devils that have it, or have had it, and the rest of the world , scared of getting it. How about we just stop, yes stop! STOP! reading and accepting any newspaper articles on Covid 19 vaccines as gospel. I’m so thoroughly sick of the hysterical reporting on the vaccine’s impact on human lives and deaths. One minute it’s good for us, the next it’s going to kill us in the most horrific ways.
The article claims that out of 18 million people in the UK, who have recieved the vaccine, 22 people have died from blood clots. Now I’m no statistician but those numbers don’t seem, to me, to make recieving the vaccine an astronomically dangerous option for most of the population. So, why? oh! why? are these numbers presented as meaning our governments should ban the vaccine? I think its become a company competition – which vaccine is the more viable. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I would not be surprised if each negative report on the vaccine is paid for by the opposing company.
I must state I’m not supporting nor condemning your choices about the covid vaccination. I don’t particularly care what you, as individuals choose. What I do care about is the scaremongering we are hearing and seeing on covid issues. Isn’t the world scary enough? Why can’t we simply get the numbers and leave out the constant analysis of the minutea. It has even become a political issue, a government can rise or fall on what is done about covid.
What has happened to our world? Covid is a PANDEMIC, and yet it is not being handled on a world level, it is being handled differently and separately by different countries and no universal care is clearly evident. What is clearly evident is the hysteria our reporters are spreading without thought of the consequences to the individuals exposed to this.
Unfortunately, there is no sign that this hysteria is alleviating any time soon. Pity.
